As the ERNCIP project has concluded its first phase, this book documents and consolidates the work performed by the network, particularly the work of its thematic groups (TGs) between 2011 and 2014. It is co‑authored by some of the TG coordinators and the ERNCIP office. Moreover, this book outlines important lessons learned, and outlines the objectives for the next phase of the ERNCIP (2015 onwards). Finally, the book serves as a single point of reference for the activities of the first phase of the ERNCIP, thereby contributing to the communication and promotion of the ERNCIP to the CIP community.
