Tele-conference of Structural Resistance to Explosive Effects TG

Group:
Resistance of Structures to Explosion Effects

Tele-conference on 3 December 2013 The group resolved the last open points of their final version of the report on the different methodologies for testing the resistance of windows and glazing. A strategy was developed to tackle the next work package, which is looking at the common practices in actually testing windows and glazing. Detailed example test reports will be collected from high explosives and shock tube tests on glass elements and windows. For the numerical modelling approach, it was agreed to document the steps that would be necessary to set up and analyse a numerical simulation for glazing and windows.
