This sub-group met to review the state-of-practice of explosives trace detection (ETD) in EU policy today. Particular issues discussed were the appropriateness of ETD in various screening situations, and whether guidelines are adequate or should be further developed. The findings of the group will be summarized in a report to the policy maker.”
