Chemical and Biological (CB) Risks to Drinking Water
8th Meeting on 27 June 2014 in Ispra.
The meeting reflected on the outcome of the Water Operators’ workshop on the previous day. The meeting analysed the status of responses and the results so far of the questionnaire aimed at drinking water utility, the relevant legislative framework of each EU MS, the research projects under FP7 and H2020, and the potential for collaboration with JRC water labs. The work programme was updated for the tasks of pathogen identification and ad hoc identification of contaminants. The proposals for the 2015 tasks were agreed, as was the agenda the next meeting, to be held in November 2014 in Barcelona to coincide with the forthcoming European Water Conference.
