Applied Biometrics for the security of Critical Infrastructure
11 April and 23 June 2014 in Ispra.
Over the course of these two meetings the group members re-assessed which of the work programme tasks would be most feasible to complete during 2014. Individual group members agreed to produce during the summer the elements of a guidance document for operators considering the implementation of biometric technologies as part of their security arrangements. The update for a European biometric standard for physical access control within a secure location is now to be tabled at the CEN technical committee meeting in October 2014.
