Video Surveillance for Security of Critical Infrastructure

A sub-group of the Group met to confirm the outputs that this Thematic Group will be able to achieve under its present mandate, and with its present membership. In particular, discussion took place on how to re-vitalise the initiative on identifying relevant standards. It was agreed to produce a document that would help infrastructure operators to clearly set out their operational requirements for the use of video surveillance technology, as part of their security regime, along with a report on the relevant factors for surveillance and video analytics. These will inform the proposals for ongoing activities of this Thematic Group in 2015 and beyond.
