2nd meeting on 9 -10 September 2013, JRC Ispra
Altogether 15 participants took part in the meeting of this Thematic Group, which started its activity in April 2013. The group, coordinated by the Finnish Nuclear Safety Authority STUK, finalised its work programme for 2013-2014, which focuses on three tasks: list-mode data acquisition based on digital electronics; remote expert support of field teams; and remote controlled radiation measurements and sampling using unmanned vehicles. The current meeting discussed especially the first task, based on several expert presentations. The first deliverable of the group, an analysis of current state-of-the-art of knowledge and expertise in list-mode data acquisition, will be prepared by the end of 2013. The next meeting, focusing on the second task, will be on 14-15 November 2013 at the JRC Ispra.
