Applied Biometrics for the security of Critical Infrastructure
The need to strengthen the group’s membership in order to provide a critical mass of experts for the proposed tasks was identified. Recruitment tasks were delegated to the members to increase active membership.The CEN standards activity on the use of biometric systems in physical access control will submit a new work item to the meeting of CEN TC 224 WG18. The group also agreed to evaluate and develop contributions to the ISO standard for Biometric Systems, Facial Recognition from CCTV Systems.
