Video Surveillance for Security of Critical Infrastructure

The second meeting of this Group discussed a number of video analysis use cases, presented by Group members. These included: sterile zone monitoring; detection of abandoned baggage and suspicious objects; building entry point surveillance; parked vehicle; tracking individuals across multiple cameras; pick-pocketing; threats to moving vehicles and cargo; detecting and analysing incidents using video content produced by the public; and abnormal behaviour on transport systems. The rest of the meeting focussed on completing the overall work programme.
