Chemical and Biological (CB) Risks to Drinking Water

The experts discussed the draft work programme 2015 including the implication in terms of allocation of working tasks, validation procedures, third-party testing and opportunities for standardisation. The experts debated the proposed deliverable on general requirements for event detection systems related to CB threats to drinking water in terms of definition and context, indentifying a need of operational standards to better integrate sensors. Future activities will include a consultation workshop to validate the deliverable and a timetable of proposed standardisation activities for 2016.
